Gardens on the Saturday Tour
On Saturday, we will start the day with a hot, plated breakfast at the hotel.
Then we will travel by motorcoach bus to tour the gardens of Dave Beckman & Linda Horsmann, Jenn & Steve Lanz, Bill & Dory Lidinsky, and Judie McGraw. Garden descriptions will be in the spring issue of the AHS Region One Daylily Pioneer.
As part of the Saturday tour, we will stop for a buffet lunch at a popular Italian restaurant near the Lanz and McGraw gardens.
While visiting the gardens, select the best daylily you see and give it your vote for the ‘Star of the North’ award, our informal President’s Cup!
In the Lidinsky garden, you can see the Bryan Culver daylilies that will be in the Saturday evening auction. Look for them and plan your bids!
Sunday at Springwood Gardens with Garden Judges Workshop 2
Visit Karol & Dick Emmerich's Springwood Gardens (in Jordan) on Sunday, 8:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Enjoy a hot buffet breakfast (included with your registration) from 8:30–10:00 a.m. Garden Judges Workshop 2 starts at 10:00 a.m. Transportation is on your own; driving directions will be provided at Registration.
Garden Judges Workshops 1 & 2
Garden Judges Workshop 1 & 2 will be offered: $5 for credit; $3.00 to audit. GJW1 will be held on Friday at the hotel, and GJW2 will be conducted on Sunday at Springwood Gardens.
If you want to become an AHS Garden Judge and vote on AHS awards, this is the place to start! If you need to renew your appointmen in the next year or two, plan to take the workshop on Sunday.
