The Off-Scape Daylily Show will be held at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in the Snyder Auditorium..
As an added attraction, DSM is partnering with the Arboretum to provide tour guides for the updated Arboretum Daylily Gardens from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
WANTED! DAYLILY BLOOMS!
We will be showing two categories: Named Cultivars and Seedlings.
If you are bringing flowers for the exhibit, cut them early in the morning and label them (cultivar name with hybridizer/year if possible or Seedling Number) with a Post-It Note or a Sharpie pen. Transport them in a flat box cradled with tissue paper or a soft dish towel.
- Cultivar names must be officially registered with AHS (no garden names).
- No limit on the number of cultivar blooms you may bring.
- Seedlings must be labeled with a Seedling Number or pre-registered name (no garden names). Bring as many seedlings as you wish.
- The public will vote for their favorite seedling, and we will announce the winner at the August banquet.
Blooms do NOT need to be kept in water after picking. Barry will have individual vases for the blooms on tables for the show.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need volunteers for all or part of the day to help with setup at 10:00 am, during the show from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, for garden guides 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and for cleanup 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
Arboretum admission fee is WAIVED for volunteers.
Volunteering counts toward the Plant Adoption Program.
